Message I got sick of the damn stock clock shorting out on me, going dim...I tried another clock and it didn't keep time well. I didn't feel like doing all the soldering on the original since it was battered anyway. I had been looking for SOMETHING to put there but the only thing that comes close is a turbo timer...and well, unless I spend $10K to add turbos, there's no need for that ;)

At Yaohan I found this clock...it was electroluminescent so it was easily visible and it's about the size of a turbo timer. Best of all, it was made for the 12V of the car. I can use the "Mode" and "Set" buttons just fine and it matches well. And since it's an ULTRA LOW power draw (EL is like that), I can leave it connected to the battery at all times. I figured I'd post it for those getting fed up and don't want to pay over $100 for a new one or $50 for used one.

I got it for $20 (talked the guy down from $36...Yaohan is insanely overpriced :) Also, sorry for the photo quality, mine is at my friends shop so I borrowed my neighbors. Everything is really more blue, but it came out green :X

As if this will do you any good...LOL. Bilingual anyone?
